This family living space was conceived as a combination of several existing rooms. Rather than removing the beautiful original features, Sue persuaded her client to take a simpler approach that retained the original character of the house, refurbishing the large original window and woodwork, and introducing traditional features, such as a dark wood herringbone floor, in a contemporary way. The statement “Array” chandelier over the kitchen island provides a bold and totally modern centrepiece for the space.
“This space is all about modern family life: classically timeless and achingly stylish, yet functional and easy to use; and with stunning lighting and finishes that create a visual “wow” factor that is also ultra-comfy to relax in.”
Client quote (you don’t have to use this!): “What she has achieved for us is way beyond what we could have hoped and suddenly we are using our house fully and making all rooms work for a busy working family and its improved our quality of life. Every time I enter into the spaces she has designed it makes me happy and has a really wow factor.”
