Nestled in the heart of the Stroud Valley, Spring Hill House is a beautifully restored Grade II* listed home with a rich architectural history dating back to 1680. Once a wool merchant’s residence, the house has been meticulously reimagined by Clare Turner, co-founder and creative director of CTO Lighting, blending its historic charm with bespoke furniture and the latest designs from CTO Lighting.
Originally built over three centuries ago in 1680, with later additions from the Georgian and Victorian eras, this exquisite house showcases a harmonious blend of architectural elements, characterised by its elegant stone facade, intricate cornices, and grand sash windows.
The house has been meticulously preserved, offering a glimpse into the opulent lifestyles of its past inhabitants while providing a perfect setting for modern elegance. Standout spaces include the entrance hall illuminated by CTO’s striking Shard pendant, the serene Victorian reception room featuring the NIMBUS chandelier, and a breathtaking 9m MODULO vertical light cascading through the staircase.
The photoshoot at Spring Hill House captures the timeless elegance of CTO Lighting’s new lighting designs against the backdrop of one of the region’s most cherished architectural landmarks. Explore how this unique project brings history to life with sculptural sophistication.
